Our Story
Hey there, thanks for visiting dogs and Info! I am Ritu, a 32 years old freelance writer and a proud mom of two furbabies.

I am a professional blog writer and passionate about dogs. I have always been very fond of dogs from a very early age. After graduation, I got my first dog, whom I adopted as my daughter. In 2018, I assumed my second daughter. My daughters and I have faced many health challenges. However, this made me realize the unavailability of pertinent information regarding pet dogs. It is essential to get the right source of information when it comes to your dog having a fever, cough, or behaving differently. However, the helplessness pushed me to work with the knowledge I gained throughout the years.
Dogs and Info is a medium for providing top-notch information to all new and old pet parents. In other words, this pet blog aims to enrich its readers’ knowledge about dogs and gain information on health, lifestyle, food, and many more areas. Similarly, Dogs and Info intends to improve its readers with the most valuable ideas, which I strive to enjoy very much while doing this.

I am a proud dog mom of an eight-year-old labrador. This is Dora, a completely spoiled baby. She loves taking a nap in the sun in winter and sitting in water puddles in summer. She loves getting pets from strangers and never wants to return home after evening walks. In addition, she has been suffering from hip dysplasia from a very tender age, even though her pain did not stop her from being a pool of joy. On Feb 01, 2024, Dora left us at the age of 9 years and 8 months with a big hole in our hearts.

Here is my other daughter, Cherry! She is one of the sweetest things I could have. The most obedient and playful soul. She likes to follow me in every corner of the house and act as my shadow. Unfortunately, Cherry is suffering from severe skin allergy and hypothyroidism. She passed away due to kidney failure on 30th November 2022 at the age of 4 years and 9 months.
Our Mission And Vission

From a very young age, I learned that dogs weren’t “just pets.” They were family, confidants, healers, and heroes. That deep connection—first inspired by my mother’s care and my father’s commitment—never left me. Inspired by his legacy and driven by my passion, I launched this platform with a clear purpose: to help pet parents understand their dogs’ health, anatomy, and psychology. When we treat our animals as our children, we owe it to them to understand them deeply and care for them consciously.

Growing up in a home where discipline, duty, and dogs were part of everyday life, I was raised under the watchful and loving eyes of a man who gave 26 years of his life to the Indian Armed Forces—my father. He wasn’t just a soldier. He was a devoted dog lover, an animal protector, and a man of immense compassion. Our house was always full of life, including dogs, cats, and even stray cattle found a place with us. It wasn’t just kindness, as it was a way of life.
But over the past few months, as geopolitical tensions have escalated, especially the renewed conflict between India and Pakistan, I’ve found myself deeply reflecting on what more I can do. As a daughter of a defence personnel, the question that kept haunting me was: “What am I doing for my country?”
The answer came slowly, but it was always rooted in my upbringing, my values, and my bond with dogs. I realized that this platform can be more than just a space for pet care—it can be a channel for national service.
Truly inspired by my furbabies, Dogs, and Info pledges to provide information that will help pet parents give a healthy life for their pets. Hence, this pet blog will act as a guide to many. It will also feature the incredible pet stories many of us create daily and our furbabies. Furthermore, Dogs and Info invites pet parents to share their dog stories with us, which we often want to share with others. But the lack of opportunity limits our experiences within us. Here, I will feature your stories to tell the world how special your babies are to you. For informative dog stories, visit my YouTube channel @dogsandinfo
